NSRP conducted community activities on Mid-Autumn Festival 2023

The Mid-Autumn Festival is always a special cultural event which carries special meaning to everyone, especially children in the community. Joining with the merry and exciting atmosphere of the children nationwide to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival 2023, NSRP coordinated with the relevant parties and local authorities to implement a series of meaningful activities with the desire to bring a warm Mid-autumn festival atmosphere for children in the community.

NSRP’s Mid-autumn festival program for the community in 2023 included 03 main activities: Delivering gifts to kids at Mai Lam, Tinh Hai, and Bac Yen kindergartens; delivering 60 Mid-autumn gift sets to disabled and orphan children, children in difficult conditions in 06 affected communes (Mai Lam, Tinh Hai, Hai Yen, Nghi Son, Hai Ha, and Hai Thuong) and other communes/wards in Nghi Son district; and organizing the Mid-Autumn outdoor event at Mai Lam ward.

In particular, from September 25 to 27, 2023, NSRP coordinated with Mai Lam Ward People’s Committee (WPC), Tinh Hai WPC and Hai Yen Commune People’s Committee (CPC) to organize delivering gifts to all kids at Mai Lam, Tinh Hai, Bac Yen kindergartens; directly visiting and delivering gifts for 30 children with disadvantaged conditions at their home in 6 communes/wards of Mai Lam, Tinh Hai, Hai Yen, Nguyen Binh, Nghi Son and Hai Thuong.

In addition, on September 29, 2023, NSRP responded to the call from Nghi Son District People’s Committee (NSDPC) and Nghi Son Association of Handicapped and Orphans (NSHO) by actively participating in an event organized by NSHO. The purpose of this event was to provide assistance to those in need on the Mid-autumn occasion, and NSRP contributed by delivering 30 gift sets, each containing an autumn cake set and VND 1,000,000 in cash. During the event, Mr. Mai Sy Lan, the Vice Chairman of Nghi Son District People’s Committee (NSDPC), expressed gratitude and appreciation to NSRP for their consistent support and contributions to Nghi Son district in general, particularly in aiding handicapped and orphaned children. He conveyed his best wishes for NSRP’s continued stability and success, while expressing hope for their ongoing support in the future.

Furthermore, on this occasion, at Tan Thanh residential group’s cultural house – Mai Lam ward, NSRP coordinated with Mai Lam WPC to organize the outdoor event of “Mid-autumn Festival” for children and people of Mai Lam ward as well as neighboring communes/wards.  Attending the event were representatives of NSRP Administration, Social & Community and Public Relations Department; Leaders of Mai Lam Party Committee, Mai Lam People’s Committee; representatives of schools, health station and residential groups in Mai Lam ward, together with a large number of children and people.

Outstanding activities of this event included communications between Chu Cuoi – Chi Hang and children, skillful circus performances, interesting games and puzzles accompanied by attractive gifts, special musical performances etc. from both NSRP and community.

The event received high appreciation from local people and authorities. Speaking at the event, Mr. Van Huy Tran – Mai Lam WPC’s Vice Chairman: “Thank NSRP for organizing this meaningful activity to partly bring a warm mid-autumn festival atmosphere to all children in our ward as well as neighboring areas. I hope that NSRP will maintain this activity as an annual event. Wish NSRP always successful and continue further contributions to community development in the future”.

The Mid-Autumn Festival program for the community is annually implemented by NSRP and become one of the most meaningful activities which has been deeply appreciated by the local authorities and the communities, demonstrating the deep care and concern of party committees, local authorities, schools and NSRP for the people and children living in the refinery’s fence-line area.
