On April 5th, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) donated 160 bicycles worth over 300 million VND to disadvantaged households and students.
On the morning of April 5th, NSRP held a ceremony to donate 30 bicycles to disadvantaged households in Mai Lam, Tinh Hai ward, Hai Yen commune and Nghi Son district.
The ceremony of granting bicycle in Nghi Son witnessed the presence of Mr. So Hasegawa – NSRP General Director, and Mr. Hiroaki Honjo – Division Manager of Administration, Social & Community and Public Relations Department as well as staffs of Social and Community team.
From the local authority, there was attendance of Mr. Cao Van Thanh – Member of Nghi Son district’s Party Committee, Communist Party Lead of Mai Lam ward, Mr. Van Huy Tuan – Vice Chairman of Mai Lam Ward People’s Committee, Mr. Trinh Trong Trinh – Vice Chairman of Mai Lam Ward People’s Committee, Mr. Luu Minh Tam – Vice Chairman of Tinh Hai Ward’s People’s Committee and other heads of villages/ residential groups from Tinh Hai ward, Mai Lam ward, and Hai Yen commune.
On the afternoon of the same day, in Cam Thuy district, representatives of NSRP, Mr. Hiroaki Honjo – Division Manager of Administration, Social & Community and Public Relations Department and Mr. Le Ngoc Loan – Chairman of NSRP Trade Union donated 130 bicycles to disadvantaged students of Cam Luong Primary and Secondary schools, Cam Luong commune, Cam Lien Primary and Secondary schools, Cam Lien commune and Cam Thanh Primary School, Cam Thanh commune, Cam Thuy district.
At the ceremony, there was the presence of representatives of Cam Thuy Commune People’s Committee, Mr. Tran Duc Hung – Vice Chairman along with Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Head of the Cam Thuy District Education Department.
By donating bicycles, NSRP aims to provide students with improved means of transportation to school. This initiative is driven by the belief that access to reliable transportation will motivate students to overcome challenges, apply greater effort in their studies, and ultimately achieve positive academic outcomes. NSRP hopes that by removing transportation barriers, students will be empowered to build a brighter future for themselves.
This is an event in a series of activities to celebrate the 16th anniversary of the establishment of the Company (April 14th 2008 – April 14th 2024), and towards the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the land. (April 30th, 1975 – April 30th, 2024) as well as International Labor Day on May 1st.
Over the past years, beside the production and business activities, NSRP has always focused on social security activities, supporting vulnerable individuals in the Thanh Hoa province, in order to realizing the Company’s commitment to creating positive impacts on local sustainable development.
