On December 28, 2022, NSRP cooperated with the Nghi Son Commune People’s Committee to successfully organize the closing workshop of Community Marine Safety Zone Awareness (CMSZA).
The workshop witnessed the delegation of the Nghi Son district People’s Committee, Mr. Vu Trong Nam – Deputy Head of the Economic Department; from NSRP, there were Mr. Trinh Xuan Duc – Social and Community Deputy Section Manager, and S&C staffs, especially with the participation of representatives of Nghi Son Border Guard Station, relevant units and project communes/wards, including Hai Yen, Hai Thanh, Hai Binh, Tinh Hai, Hai Thuong, Hai Ha, and Nghi Son.
ogether with the support of local authorities and relevant parties, the project has been successfully implemented and accomplished the pre-set objectives as follows:
Training classes for target people:
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Vu Trong Nam, Nghi Son District People’s Committee – Deputy Head of Economic Department, expressed his appreciation for the purpose and results of the project. Besides, he suggested the commune/ward authorities coordinate with the Commanding Board of the Border Guard station and NSRP to continue to conduct propaganda for fishermen to ensure the best in the Refinery’s operation as well as raising public awareness. In addition, he recommended that NSRP should have more similar training programs and courses for people to raise their awareness of NSRP’s marine safety zone.
