Since its inception in 2018, the Community Sports Event sponsored by NSRP has become an annual cultural and sport event for the affected communities. This kind of event not only promotes NSRP’s care for local communities’ health, culture, and social issues, but also supports in the enhancement of social cohesion and bilateral relationships between NSRP and neighboring communities.
This year, on November 24, 2022, NSRP continued to coordinate with the People’s Committee of Tinh Hai ward to organize the NSRP Community Sports Event 2022 with the participation of four communes/wards: Tinh Hai, Nguyen Binh, Hai Yen, Mai Lam in 3 categories: tug of war, volleyball, and folk dances.
Athletes from these above four communes/wards had competed and delivered beautiful performances in the spirit of fair play with final convincible final results as below:
In the women’s volleyball category, team Nguyen Binh won the first prize, Hai Yen ranked second, and the third place was shared by Tinh Hai and Mai Lam.
In the tug-of-war category, team Hai Yen ranked first then came team Nguyen Binh; and the other two communes, Tinh Hai and Mai Lam, shared the third prize.
In the folk-dance performances category, team Mai Lam won first place, followed by the Tinh Hai team in second place, Hai Yen and Nguyen Binh in third places.
At the closing ceremony of the event, Mr. Luu Minh Tam – Vice Chairman of Tinh Hai WPC shared: “After a fierce and exciting day of competition, the NSRP Community Sports Event 2022 was a great success. The athletes competed with a spirit of determination, solidarity, honesty, and nobility; the referee team managed and supervised all the matches fairly and objectively; and the fans cheered in an enthusiastic way. Being chosen as the host of this year’s event, on behalf of the local community, I would like to express my deep gratitude to NSRP for sponsoring and organizing this event in order to create a healthy playground, enhance the exchange of knowledge, and foster a spirit of solidarity. I wish that the NSRP will develop stronger and continue to sponsor this kind of activity in the long term.”
